How to evaluate a rewrite

Compare the original and rewritten text before using it. A useful result preserves the important claims, removes unnecessary repetition, and fits the audience. Check named entities, figures, qualifiers, quotations, and citations separately; a fluent sentence can still be wrong.

What an AI detector score means

AI detectors classify patterns in text. They do not directly observe the writing process. Different products use different models, score definitions, and thresholds, so results should not be treated as interchangeable measures.

A detector can label human writing as AI-generated or miss AI-generated writing. Text length, topic, language, editing, and model updates may affect its result. A low score does not verify originality, factual accuracy, or compliance with an AI-use policy.

Our position on benchmark claims

We do not currently publish a reproducible, independently validated pass rate for AI Bypass. Historical test results are snapshots of particular samples and detector versions. They cannot establish that a humanizer is universally “best” or “undetectable.”

The marketing pages therefore do not use an overall detector pass-rate chart as evidence of performance. If an older article describes a test, read its date, sample, and limitations before drawing a conclusion about today’s tools.

What a useful comparison should publish

• The test date, detector versions, and thresholds used.
• The number of samples and how topics, lengths, and source models were selected.
• Original and rewritten text, with permission to share it.
• The same input and comparable settings for each tool.
• Human-written control samples and an account of classification errors.
• A review of meaning, factual changes, and readability alongside detector results.
• Failures and uncertainty, including any commercial relationship between the tester and the products.

Use AI Bypass on content you are authorized to edit. Keep your sources and drafts, review the output, and follow the disclosure or AI-use requirements of your school, employer, publisher, or platform. Rewriting does not change those requirements.
